This is a terrific way to do exactly what you want when you want it in Juneau. Your private driver is happy to accommodate your interests. In this case, we combined two highlights that appeal to most.
On your ride to Mendenhall Glacier, you will have the opportunity to see the highlights of Juneau. Several lovely homes as well as government buildings show the stature of this capital city.
When you arrive at the glacier, you can view its stark beauty from the viewing platform. They have a lovely Visitor's Center and, although we have not included the admission of $3.00, you may pay at the door for admittance. Your driver will be waiting for you so you can take your time taking in the view.
You will then proceed to Glacier Gardens to view the lush rainforest offering landscaping, floral design, and scenic vistas. Here your driver will leave you while you take the Gardens tour aboard their golf cart-like trolleys.
You will see ponds, bubbling waterfalls, and exquisitely designed gardens with spectacular views of the Mendenhall Valley and its pristine surroundings. You will enjoy the scenery from the comfort of deluxe covered golf carts. Finally you will travel to the Alaskan Brewery which has won more than 25 major medals and awards, including "Best Beer in the Nation". Enjoy a sample their beer during your tour.
When you are ready, the gals at the front desk will contact your driver and he will return for you.
After completing this tour, if you wish, your driver can drop you off at Red Dog Saloon which is within walking distance of your ship.

| I loved this tour; we saw all the highlights of Juneau in a short amount of time. Our guide, Shane, was fantastic; he was colorful, animated, and very knowledgeable about everything from the fish hatchery practices, to the local award winning brewery, to the comings and goings of the Palin family. This private tour is excellent; well run, organized, knowledgeable, interesting, informative, and fun. This tour has it all. |

| THIS TOUR WAS THE HIGHLIGHT OF OUR CRUISE. OUR GUIDE, SEAN, WAS SUPER. HE WAS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE ABOUT THE AREA AND WAS QUICK TO INSERT PERSONAL INFO THAT MADE HIS COMMENTS MUCH MORE REAL. THE SLED DOGS WERE GREAT TOO. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR TO EVERYONE. |

| The driver was very knowledgeable and gave us a great tour of the surrounding area on our way to the glacier, he gave us ample time to examine the glacier and the surrounding area. The gardens were also nice, even with a light rain coming down, and the last drop off at the brewery was great. We had a taste and made our way back to Juneau. Thanks for taking care of us. |

| They loved this tour. They actually ended up having a private tour(just the two of them). They didn't prefer to visit the brewery, so their guide took them somewhere else. It was wonderful!! |

The Glacier Gardens and Mendenhall Glacier Tour was very nice. We had several people in our party and everyone enjoyed both tours. Our taxi drivers that took us to all the places were very nice and informative of the history of Juneau and the glacier areas. The taxi service and each of the tour stops were very accommodating, especially to one of our members who was in a wheelchair. We all enjoyed the trip. Thank you.
