Although we like to recommend that you spend this day experiencing the opportunities in and around Montego Bay and saving Dunns River Falls for your next cruise to Ocho Rios, you might just be a stubborn rebel like myself and choose to take this tour. The climb up the falls is lots of fun. Just remember that your total ride will be about 2 hours, and remember to bring all of your favorite driving songs!
"Dunn's River Falls & Park" is a mix of modern facilities with the rustic charm of a nature park. Visitors can climb the falls in a human chain led by experienced Falls' guides or visit "the massage parlor" and experience the soothing effect of the water as it cascades to the sea. Sunlovers can also enjoy the beach.
This tour goes east from Montego Bay, passing the Rose Hall Great House, through the quaint fishing village of Falmouth, where you'll find the Anglican Church built in 1795. Then, you'll make a stop in Discovery Bay, where Columbus discovered Jamaica in 1494. You pass thru Runaway Bay and Seville Nueva before Ocho Rios and the scenic Dunns River Falls.
Here you will be able to climb over 600 ft. of cascading water falls. Admission to the falls is included.
Also included is time for lunch (not included in the price) and shopping on the return trip.

Thank you so much for adding that extra zip to our vacation to the Western Caribbean. We all had been wanting to experience Dunns River and we were so glad we went with ShoreTrips because our group was so much smaller than the cruiseship. Our guides made us feel comfortable, because they had personalities that were light and accomodating and they made us laugh. Thank you for the lovely day in Mo Bay.

In Jamaica, we had a fabulous time. Our driver was excellent. He arrived early so we were able to start our trip as soon as the ship disembarked. He told us all about local customs, events and history. We made a couple of brief stops for shopping, a lunch of jerked chicken and to visit Discovery Bay. Overall we had a terrific experience and didn't miss the large cruise crowds from previous shore excursions. This was the highlight of our cruise for most of my family.
