A highlight of this entertaining and educational look at Alaska's wilderness is your chance to go gold-panning. We promise you that you will not leave empty-handed.

Your experienced and entertaining guide will amuse you with captivating stories of the "Klondike Gold Rush" on your way to the White Pass Summit.
Your comfortable motorcoach parallels the train en route to the White Pass Summit and will pick you up and deliver you right back to the cruise ship pier. You will travel to Summit for a City Tour and then you will take the Brackett Wagon Road into the wilderness.
You will see the gorgeous mountains with the incredibly tall Aspen trees all around you. Mountain glaciers and waterfalls will set the scene as you imagine those goldminers trekking on foot.
Along the way there will be ample opportunities to view and photograph these scenes, the waterfalls, majestic mountains, glaciers, historic sites and the pristine beauty of ALASKA!
Your frequent stops will include Pitchfork Falls, the Moore Bridge, the famous White Pass Summit, Tormented Valley, Bridal Veil Falls and the Gold Rush Cemetery, where the legendary Soapy Smith was laid to rest, plus a stop at the Skagway scenic overlook. This tour emphasizes the best of everything that has made Skagway famous.
The best is an interactive stop at the Gold Dredge, the gorgeous new facility that never lets you walk away without a reward of gold from your panning. You can pan for gold here in HEATED water in a covered area in comfort. Everyone is guaranteed to find their gold and you will walk away with this souvenir hidden in your 'poke', a velvet pouch used to stash your treasure.
This charming end to a perfect tour will bring you lasting memories.

| This tour was very well organized, on time, and the driver (a young lady) was very knowledgeable of the area and its history, and funny too. As for gold panning, it was interesting, we actually got $16 worth of gold. The tour was well worth it. Congratulations on a job well done. |

We loved it and Kerry was great as the guide and van driver on the way down. Everything went smoothly and we would definitely recommend it to anyone else seeking a great shore adventure in Skagway.

| The Skagway excursion was really good. We were the only customers, so it was basically a private tour. Ariel was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. We went clear to the top of the Summit, stopping along the way to take plenty of pictures. We enjoyed ourselves and would recommend it to others. Thanks! |

We had a great time on all our tours. The tour guides were very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the guide on the White Pass trip. He was a riot!! The prices for the tours were reasonable. We felt we got our moneys worth. We were picked up right on time and in the exact location mentioned in our itinery. The prices were less expensive than the same tour offered by Carnival. I passed along your web address to many people we met on the ship.
