Learn the history of the Island. Find out the ways of the true Mexican people. Enjoy the ride through the Coconut Plantation. See the Mango and Lemon groves. Witness cultivating by hand of different vegetable fields. Observe the native birds.
You will ride on healthy, well-groomed, easily manageable and loved horses. The actual horseback ride lasts for 2 hours.
The ride ends at a beach club where you may purchase the delicious fresh morning catch of shrimp, marlin, mahi-mahi, dorado, taste home made tortillas and beans. Sample chips and salsa on the house; also a free drink.
For the young at heart you'll have the option to purchase time on Banana Boat rides, Snorkeling and Boogie Boards. Have yourselves a game of Volley Ball on the pristine beach. Be serenaded by the wandering musicians.

| Your personnel in Mazatlan were wonderful, she was a joy and a well informed guide. The trip to stone island effortless, and the ranch did a great job pairing people with horses. Myself and daughters are experienced riders, the horses were well trained and responsive to reign and leg commands, running on the beach was a treat. Another family of three, not as experienced were given gentle animals and had a great time. As promised, the lunch was delicious (go for the chili shrimp) and beach time relaxing. I would highly recommend ShoreTrips to anyone interested in a horseback riding excursion. Our group of seven was small and intimate. We saw another group of 20+ people and we were grateful not to have been part of that crowd. Thanks for the experience, I would use ShoreTrips again. |

We did the Horseback riding on Stone Island: This was great and everyone involved with Stone Island are the best. This is our second time to this resort. And we loved it.

We were met by our guide, who was very helpful and facilitated a quaint water taxi ride to Stone Island. We enjoyed boating by the old shrimping fleet and Mexican navy docks. Once on the island, a short taxi ride led through small neighborhoods to the horse stables. We stashed our bags and saddled up. They found the perfect, tame horse for our 7-year-old. The best part about the horses is that they followed commands. We even got to run them through the surf! The ride ended at a small restaurant on the beach where we had the most amazing boiled shrimp. We enjoyed our guide so much that we had lunch and spent the afternoon with her. This excursion was the highlight of our vacation, and we highly recommend it.

| Our Horseback shore trip was absolutely awesome! The guide allowed us the freedom to gallop the horses on the beach, which made it an unforgettable experience. I was so pleased to see that the horses were healthy and well groomed, just as it was promised. I have used Shore Trips before and each time every excursion has gone without a hitch. I have and will continue to use your company on my vacations. I also referred your company to fellow cruisers so that next time they cruise they will opt for your excursions rather than the expensive trips through the cruise line. My client is me and we loved the trip we found really wonderful to have a blond haired american girl meet us at the ship and takes us around to the horses and then to the beach. The horses were clean and healthy it was a trip of a life time. It was something I have always dreamed of and it was everything I want. Thanks for making it a wonderful shore excursion. | We had a wonderful time in Mazatlan!!! Our horseback riding was truly a fun experience. The ride along the beach was absolutely beautiful! For those of us who do not ride horses on a regular basis, we have a new appreciation for Cowboys! The tour guides were very attentive and helpful. We definitely recommend this tour to all! |

| I did the excursion for myself and my partner... we really enjoyed it! It was a great excursion.... really a fun excursion that ended at a really cool little beach front restaurant...great food...excellent Mahi Mahi Fish tacos and huge tiger prawns and Sol mexican beer! Great ending to a great excursion. Fernando was our guide and gave us a hug as he dropped us off downtown in Mazatlan to check out the Cathedral and sights. |

| We had a good time. My daughter, who is the horse fanatic, absolutely loved the ride. It was the first time that we were allowed to go faster than a walk, which my daughter took full advantage of. We would definitely recommend the ride to anyone. |

| Our second excrusion arranged through Shoretrips was in Mazatlan. It was a "leisurely Horseback Ride on Stone Island". This was super. We were met at the pier and taken to the water taxi where we met our guide for the day. He went with us in the water taxi to Stone Island keeping up a running commentary on the island and surroundings. My husband and I were the only 2 people on this horse back ride which lasted 2 hours. We went through a coconut plantation and onto the beach. It was beautiful and wonderful. We then rode our horses to a beach front restaurant and enjoyed a delicious meal of Mahi Mahi cooked on a grill in an open air kitchen. The Island was very clean, and the facilities were immaculate. The name of the restaurant was the Molokai and I would sure go back there in a heartbeat. The beach was very clean and we weren't bothered while eating etc. |
