We did the Tubing through caves trip in Belize and had a wonderful time. Our guide, was fabulous. He knew so much about the caves and the Mayan people. We even enjoyed a little taste testing of plants and termites along our hike. The tubing part was longer than most of the other tours. For the most part it was very relaxing but there were a few sections that took a little physical maneuvering to get over rocks or away from bushes. The hike was relatively easy. It did get a little chilly in the caves but once we hit the sunlight it felt great.

I LOVED my shore excursions with Shore Trips. The cave tubing was amazing. I describe the trip like being in the pirates of the Caribbean at Disney, but that you are touring in an inner tube with your butt in the water. Our guides were amazing. We had a small group of 13 and we were linked with our feet under the person’s arm pits in front of us (two rows) with the 13th person as the anchor. I was one of the people holding one of the anchor’s legs. We saw “other” guides moving groups so quickly through the caves, but OUR guides took their time and showed/explained everything. They even took us into the part of the cave that had the waterfalls. Other groups were wondering why we had helmets on, but I now see why…the 2 mile hike to begin the tubing was great too. It was warm, but worth it. The end of the tubing had us go through some “white water”…but nothing too serious.

Thank you for everything. You and your crew did a great job, and your tour operators in the ports were great. I've heard nothing but rave reviews. (For the three tours I did I can tell you firsthand they were fantastic.)

Perfect, we got to the jungle and went for the most amazing tour on our way to the river. Our guide took the time to explain the different types of plants, trees, etc. to us as we walked while other groups were just marching through to get to the river as soon as possible. It really made the walk more enjoyable and very educational. The float down the river was absolutely gorgeous. The tours were beautiful and the river was perfect and serene. Our guide knew a ton of history about the caves and did a wonderful job of pointing out the different landmarks as we floated. The lunch after the tour was also phenomenal. Authentic Belizean cuisine served up fast and hot!Overall the tour was a great value and our guide did an awesome job of showing and explaining everything to us.

My husband & I just returned from a 7day western carribean cruise. We used ShoreTrips for ziplining in Roatan and cave tubing in Belize. These were absolutely incredible experiences. The Belize excursion was very informative and lots of fun!!! Our guide utilized the ride to and from the caves to pass on extensive knowledge of the area and its people. The food was great local fare. The guides were very personable and friendly. I cannot say enough how much we enjoyed these excursions. We made it a point to tell everyone we spoke to on the ship about our positive experiences and are continuing with everyone here at home!! Thanks for being a part of a wonderful vacation.

Hi! We've just returned from our Cave-tubing adventure in Belize. It was "un-belize-able"!!! Edgar & Junior were terrific...especially Edgar. He educated us all on Belize, while we were travelling to our destination. He was very knowledgeable, and a pleasure to talk to. We would recommend this to anyone planning on doing this adventure! One we'll never forget!!

We have recently returned from our cruise of the Western Caribbean and had to share our shore excursion experience in Belize. We were a little nervous when folks we talked to on the ship said that it was risky to not book your excursion through the cruise line. We were glad we didn’t listen to that piece of advice! We arrived in Belize and were immediately greeted and taken to our van where we met our guide Marcel. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that our family of four would be the entire tour. On the 30-45 minute drive to the caves Marcel taught us all about the Belizean & Mayan culture, the land, wildlife, cuisine and anything else you’d want to know about Belize. Then it was on to a 2 mile hike in the rainforest and Marcel pointed out unusual plants, let us sample sugar cane and coconut, and even found a tarantula for us to hold while he took pictures! I still can’t believe we did that! We noticed while learning all about this beautiful rainforest that large groups from other tours were whizzing by us to get to the caves and didn’t spend any time learning about the rainforest. We spent plenty of time in the caves and still had time to enjoy an authentic Belizean lunch at a local restaurant. Lunch was such a hit that Marcel took us to a supermarket so we could purchase the spices and hot sauce used in our meal at a significant discount compared to port prices. Thanks ShoreTrips and Marcel for a once in a lifetime experience!

We just returned from a cruise and our cave tubing experience in Belize was one of the highlights. Our knowledgeable and fun-loving guide was with us every step of the way. He guided us through the rainforest and stopped along the way to point out interesting vegetation and tell us stories about the area. When we arrived at the river, he got the four people in our group (all middle aged) onto our rubber tubes and had us hook our feet under the shoulders of the person in front of us. Our guide was at the front of our little human train and guided us through the dark limestone caves. People from other tours were floating aimlessly and bumping into rocks, while we floated past with expert guidance. He also shone his strong flashlight onto interesting formations and told us about Mayan beliefs about these caves. We took about an hour to get through the series of caves and laughed all the way. This was followed by a tasting lunch of chicken and rice and beans. It was a rainy, cool day in Belize, but despite that we had a ball. Thanks to our guide and all Shore Trips staff.

We would like to start by saying, "WOW!!!" & thank you. Our cave tubing in Belize was unbelievable. I would be sure to highly recommend ShoreTrips to all my friends and family, and we will definitely use ShoreTrips again for our future excursions. Our tour guide was just amazing and so informative. We had our sister-in-law along who has some difficulty walking but he was so patient and caring. He was awesome!!! It's a day never to be forgotten. Thank you.

I wanted to share how great our experience was with our recent shore excursion with ShoreTrips in Belize. This was the first time I had used this company - First of all, they notified me that we had an itinerary change on our cruise, and were very accommodating in changing the date of our excursion in Belize. The Cave Tubing was a wonderful experience and a lot had to do with our tour guide, who made sure he took excellent care of all 10 of us. The lunch that followed the tubing was also excellent. I will definintely use and promote ShoreTrips in the future! Thanks for the great service!

Last week my wife and I went on the Belize Cave Tubing Tour and the Chacchoben Ruins and Maya Adventure Tour. To say they were both outstanding would be an understatement. I regret that I do not remember the name of our guide for the cave tubing. He was terrific. More than once he pointed out fantastic sights that we would never have noticed on our own. Examples are baby slaty-tailed trogons in a tree cavity; a sleeping boat-tailed heron; and, unseen by other groups, howler monkeys. In the caves themselves, our small group of five felt fortunate that our guide would pause to show us special sights, while larger groups nosily went right by.

Our Cave Tubing Tour was wonderful! Our guide, was extremely knowledgable and very entertaining. Walking through the jungle/rain forest, we stopped to talk about the different trees and plants and what they were used for. We tasted sugar cane and other plants, even termites! Yes, minty termites! The water in the river was very "refreshing". It was chilly, but felt great after walking through the jungle in 90 degrees! Our cruise ship had the same tour but for $98 per person and lunch was not included! I am recommending your website to everyone that I know traveling in the future.

The cave tubing trip in Belize was great. Our guide, in a small group of nine, lead us on a excellent tour through the rain forest trail and then through the caves. The lunch they provided us one of the best meals on our 7 day cruise and the driver/guide was very pleasant and answered all our questions in route to the cave tubing site. They both received a extra tip from us! We spread the word aboard that Shoretrips.com is a great place to book your tours when you want better pricing, less crowded, and more enjoyable vacation experiences! You have my business in the future.....Thanks again!

This was my first cruise experience and was very reluctant to book our tubing excursion through ShoreTrips. However, I was traveling with a group of twenty families with children under 12 years of age and our only chance to experience the caves would be through your agency. It was one of the best decisions we made. Our FOUR guides exhibited patience and experience to ensure a gratifying experience. My 10 year old and I were at "awe" with the atmosphere, hospitality, scenery, and thrill within this adventure. It was unforgettable! Thanks for such a safe, comfortable, and memorable experience.

Excellent tour!! We only had six people in the group compared to 20+ from ship tours. Thanks for providing all these tours. Loved everyone of them. Also, felt special to not be part of the big groups. Loved the personal touch from all operators and guides.
