Experience the thrill of soaring like an eagle through the canopy of Ketchikan's temperate rainforest on this active outing.
Enjoy a 25 minute ride from town to an "off the beaten track" location for this combination zip line and ropes course. After a short walk into the forest, you will be outfitted with your safety equipment and receive detailed instructions on how to navigate the course.
This is so much more than just a zipline tour, it's also a course of eight different spans across trees with suspended logs, rope bridges and swinging steps. And, for those adventurous enough, there's an added option of climbing a 50' tower. Since you're securely attached to cables, even the less adventurous will be willing to test their balance.
After these activities, the ziplines begin! Along the way, climb through a giant cedar tree called "The Nest" to the final zipline and descend back to the ground.
But the adventure isn't over yet. Head over to the climbing wall and ascend any or all of the four sides of the tower, or take the circular stairs to the top for a fantastic view of the forest and Clover Passage. When you reach the top of the climb, ring the bell to let everyone know your success.

Canopy Zipline and Rainforest Ropes Adventure - several members of our larger group did this excursion and all had a great time. The tour guide met us at the designated spot and everyone at the ropes course was helpful and supportive. Everyone had a great time.

We weren’t sure if we could handle this much adventure, but we did! We had amazing guides who were very professional and really focused on safety. They cheered us on every stretch of the way. This is something that we never thought a couple of 50+ year olds could do, but we did it and have the photos to prove it thanks to Brian and Greg, our guides!

We throughly enjoyed our zipline adventure! We were a little afraid that our ages (58 & 53) would limit our fun, but that fear was put to rest after our first zipline run. After the ziplines, I even managed to climb half way up the optional medium level rock wall and repel down! We both felt perfectly safe the whole time thanks to our very capable guides. Because we booked thru ShoreTrips, we arrived before the tour buses. We were given a private tour around the grounds while waiting for the tour buses to arrive and got to see a young bald eagle perched within 100 feet of us. A throughly fantastic adventure!

The zipline experience in Ketchikan was terrific. We were met at the pier by our guide, who gave us an impromptu history of the area as we drove to the facility. I’m a bit of a wimp, but the team gave me such a feeling of confidence that I tackled the ropes course and the ziplining eagerly. I even made it partway up the climbing wall! I’m so proud of myself! I had such a great time, and so did my husband. I’d definitely do it again, and recommend it to anyone with a sense of adventure.

All equipment, including rain gear, harness, lanyards, pulleys, carabiners and helmets are provided. Wear close-toed shoes.

Restrictions
This tour is considered moderately strenuous. You should be in good physical condition to participate. You will be required to sign a waiver at the beginning of the tour. Any partcipants age 21 and under must be accompanied by a guardian or parent.
Minimum age to participate is 11 years old. Minimum weight is 70 pounds, maximum weight is 250 pounds. You may not participate in this excursion if you are pregnant, have heart conditions, are afraid of heights, experience vertigo, anxiety, and/or any other physical condition. You must be in good physical condition to take zipline / canopy tours.
