L. Winkworth...I booked 3 ShoreTrips for our cruise and they were all wonderful! Billy was our guide in Jamaica and he was great. He was friendly and professional and asked what we would like to see. He took us to a good area for shopping and helped us with the bargaining. He then took us to the Half Moon Resort where we truly enjoyed a lovely afternoon on the beach. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, we didn't feel like interlopers since we weren't staying there. My husband and son took the scuba lesson in Grand Cayman and said it was the best adventure they have ever had. Both of them were a little trepidatious but the staff was so friendly and professional that they were put at ease. We did the Royal dolphin swim in Cozumel and it was amazing. It was worth the extra money as we only had 7 in our group and 2 dolphins. We never felt rushed and we were really able to interact with the dolphins.
All of the information and advice given by Shore Trips was accurate and helpful. The rest of the cruise passengers had to stand in long lines and wait to get to their excursions but we zipped right through and got to our trips. I will highly recommend Shore Trips and will definitely use you again. Thank-you for making our cruise truly memorable!

P. Short...We took two trips through you, the dune buggy rides in Cozumel and the Costa Maya Mahahual. This was our first time ever booking outside of the ship's excursions, so needless to say we were not quite sure how this would all work out. I can honestly begin by saying you have us spoiled, these were two of the best excursions we have ever been on, and we have taken several cruises. Needless to say, we will book through you again and look forward to working with you guys on our next cruise, which we are planning at the current time.
These sure trips were fabulous. We were sooooo pleased with the small groups. In Cozumel, we had a total of four dune buggies, not a long line like you would typically see with the excursions that the ship books. Our tour guides were extremely pleasant to work with, two great guys, and they provided us a fabulous meal. We will still talk about the fun that we had. Matter of fact, Cozumel is one of our ports of call for our next cruise. We are going with some friends and told them that we will do this excursion over, just so they can experience it. This was truly top notch. Our second excursion was another fabulous one. We met our tour guide, Carolyn, and we could not have asked for a better guide. She really really knows the area. Once again, another small group, just one other family, so a total of nine people. We had a wonderful time on this excursion and have some fabulous pictures that we will have for years to come, which we still share with everyone.
We have recommended you to our friends and family, and we truly look forward to using your services again. I don't think we will be booking through the ship anymore, we are spoiled now. Thanks for helping us make a vacation extra special.
D & J. Bryan...My husband and I used Shore Trips for three different excursions while we were on our Alaskan cruise. We went whale watching in Juneau, rafting through an eagle preserve in Skagway and bear watching in Ketchikan. All three trips were great! The instructions that were given us on who and how to contact our tour guides was invaluable, not to mention easy and convenient. Our ship was running a little late at times but the guides were still there waiting for us. The companies you had us using were smaller and gave us a much more personal touch.
L. & B. Brim...Just a quick note to thank the Shore Trips for everything that you went out of your way to do for everyone to make a better vacation for us. Shore Trips passed every test that you could think of. Everything went off without a "hitch". We thank you very much for all your efforts and time. We WILL be using Short Trips again in the near future.
C. Sutton...Our trip to Cabo was fantastic. If you don't have a good time in Cabo you did something wrong. It's almost impossible to go there and not have a good time. We booked, catamaraning/snorkeling, sea kayaking/snorkeling, swimming with the dolphins, scuba diving and deep sea fishing through your company (Shoretrips) Best thing I ever did. There were directions on how to get to where we needed to be for each excursion and any special instructions on the voucher so we knew what to expect and could more fully enjoy each activity. Also the operators were expecting us and the payment was already taken care of so we felt very VIP.
All the activities were fun and but we got a special treat for the sea kayaking adventure. Our particular outing was under booked so we got the guide all to ourselves. He took us places he hadn't even been this season. (I think he enjoyed himself too) We had two bays and beaches all to ourselves. It was paradise... pure heaven. It was so fantastic that I am thinking of spending the money and booking all my excursions privately in the future.
K. Guerrrier...We just returned from our first cruise to the Mexican Riviera and we had a blast. Initially I tried to book our excursions with the cruise line but they weren't very helpful in answering my questions so I decided to go with Shore Trips since my travel agency worked with them. Everyone at Shore Trips was great. They answered all my questions and every one of our excursions was awesome. We swam with the dolphins at the water park in Puerto Vallarta, went horseback riding in Mazatlan and rode ATV's and went rock repelling in Cabo San Lucas. Our guides JC and Fernando in Cabo San Lucas were phenomenal. Very, very friendly and alot of fun. I think this was our favorite excursion just because of them. A big thank you to Shore Trips and your staff for making our vacation so wonderful.
M. Grasch...You are welcome to read my shore excursion trip reports in those individual excursion but believe me both were outstanding. It is kind of cool getting off the ship with the 'cattle call' and seeing a sign with your first and last name on it as you are whisked off to your excursion.
Trip was fantastic. Already recommended you guys to anyone that goes on the cruise. Saved about $200 by booking with you instead of letting the cruise line do it. Thanks!

We were really unhappy when we were unable to tender into Grand Cayman. We were SO looking forward to our stingray trip and our private horseback ride. C. Hull..."Thank you all so much for helping make our vacation to the Caribbean a blast!! We took a Carnival cruise and scheduled all of our shore excursions through Shoretrips....and thank goodness we did!!! We ended up having a fabulous time, and even ended up having to tone down our excitement about our trips around other cruise guests who used the cruise lines excursions. We had no waits, no confusion, and what's more...no GROUPS!! We did the horseback ride and swim in Jamaica and it exceeded my expectations 10 fold. We had our own guide and got to go out just the three of us, leaving from a beautiful ranch...it was so much better than the one we booked through the cruise line last year. We also booked our scuba dive certifications in Grand Cayman and Cozumel...that was perfect!!! It was one on one attention and I felt like I was really travelling in style.
In addition, the cruise line changed one of our tender times so that we had a conflict with one of our excursions, the parasailing in Cozumel, and you all reimbursed me immediately without arguement. One of the best things about booking through you all, besides the individual attention and cheaper prices was that everything was all prepaid and there was no discussion with vendors. It was amazing, and you all are the best - we will certainly be using you for our next vacation!!"
M. LaBarge "On our recent Royal Caribbean cruise we used Shoretrips for all 4 of our excursions. I would guess that we saved close to $500 by booking through Shoretrips rather than booking the virtually identical excursions thorugh Royal Caribbean. The guides that had were all first rate and the transportation was always clean, safe and reliable. In fact, I could always spot the Shoretrips van because it was the newest and cleanest in the parking lot. I also appreciated the fact that on most of our excursions the guides were not angling for a tip and in one instance the guide disappeared before I could give him a tip. I have recommended Shoretrips to several others and will not hesitate to use them on future cruises."

The trip was great!! We had VIP service and great pictures taken of us. There were maybe 25 people total on the catamaran. Better than sharing with a huge group of people on the cruise ship. I would recommend this tour to everyone.

Our trip to Stingray City on the catamaran was great. It was exactly as described. We chose to book through you instead of the ship's excursion and we were so glad we did. The ship excursion boats were also there. There had to been at least 100 people on their boat waiting for a turn to pet the stingrays. There were only about 30 people on our boat. The crew was great and we had a lot of interaction time with the stingrays.

I wanted to let you know, the excursion I booked in Grand Cayman was great. The location was convenient and easy to find. We had 9 people in our party, we all had a great time. There were other boats with people piled on; ours had about 30-35 people, but was not crowded. We are planning another trip to Bahamas or to the Caribbean next year, and we will try to book another trip with you.

A DELIGHTFUL DAY ON A PRIVATE ROATAN CAY

The shore excusrion as amazing. My wife and I were on a 7-day cruise. Roatan was our second port stop and became our most favorite of the entire cruise.
We were met as we left the ship by one of the guides. We took a twenty minute van trip and then got on a small ferry boat. This place was unbelievable and is truly paradise. The staff were so nice and accomidating. The facility was so nice and clean as any place I have ever visited. The snorkeling was awesome. We also swam in the pool and kayaked. Our lunch was a shrimp salad and was very good. We all were able to eat together at a long dining room table. The waitstaff were so nice.

Roatan Cay was amazing. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to get away from the crowds. The resort was spotless and our hosts were more then gracious. I did not want to go back to the boat. This was my first time using Shoretrips and I will never book trips any other way. You customer service and vendors are impeccable.

I recently booked a Jeep excursion in Cozumel for August 11th for my husband and my honeymoon. I just wanted to let everyone know that we had an AMAZING time on this trip!! Our guide was absolutely phenomenal!! She had so much information about the island and the people that we felt like we lived there too! Any questions we had, she immediately knew the answer. Our group only consisted of four people total so we had the opportunity to learn and see so much of the island. We loved the smaller groups because it was very personal and we didn't feel like we were being herded around like the cruise ship excursions. The drinks at the bar were fabulous and the view of the ocean while sitting in a hammock drinking a margarita is indescribable! The chicken lunch was awesome and we had a great time talking to some of the townspeople. Snorkeling was also a fun experience and we got to see tons of different marine life. She would also tell us what we were looking at and she was able to answer any questions we had. This trip was by far the best excursion we have EVER been on and I would do it all over again in a heart beat! Everyone should take the opportunity to go on this trip when they are in Cozumel! I wanted to say THANKS for providing an amazingly wonderful experience for us!!

It was absolutely wonderful for my clients. Their guide went far beyond there expectation. Not only were they treated to the beautiful sights of the Amalfi coast and Pompeii, but their driver took them back to the airport and helped them find their missing luggage, which they probably would have never seen again if not for him. They HIGHLY recommend him to everyone.

Our guide met us with her 55 Chevy right at the pier. I felt like I was meeting an old friend for the day. She was an exceptional guide and very knowledgeable about the area and everything involved. She kept us moving and interested and the time went all too fast. She is full of energy and enthusiasm about where she lives and made us very comfortable all morning long. She gave us a chocolate and a big hug when we left. We loved it!

We had a fantastic time on the Jetboat. Our driver was incredible. What a rush! He also took the the time to stop for photo ops as well as time to tell us about the local flora and fauna. it says in the trip description that they do a 360 deg. turn, they dont..... they do about 12. woohoo!

We enjoyed the jet boat ride very much. It was a good mix of excitement on the speed, turns, the information and the visual on the slower tour through the mangroves. Our guide was informative and helpful and concious of our safety. We appreciated being picked up at the ship promptly. We will definately recommend ShoreTrips on the cruise critic website and to any of our friends travelling to Mexico.

When we were on the Celebrity Infinity on a 15 night Panama Canal cruise, I had booked 8 of us on the Jetover Adventure in Acapulco. The driver who took us to the river for the adventure was awesome, on time and very courteous. I wanted to let you know all of us enjoyed that adventure tremendously. We got a boat all to ourselves, while the cruise ship people were waiting in long lines at the dock waiting to get their turn. We felt special. Thank you for making it possible to take my guests on such a well thought out and exciting river ride!

This was incredible. The staff on this yacht were fantastic. We went on a 50ft. yacht to see the cliff divers and then back to a lagoon to snorkel and kayak. This was the best excursion on the cruise and can not thank you enough for the recommendation. The boys thought it was great we will always look to use your services on future cruises.

AWESOME! The best shore trip I've ever done. We were met at the dock on time and driven in a clean new air conditioned van to the location. Our driver was very informative about the history and sights of Belize (I wished we could stay longer). Our zip line adventure was the coolest ever. Our party of 11 included a 77-year-old, several teens, their parents, and an 11-year-old. Every one of us loved it. Truly a trip for all. Our guides couldn't have been more helpful. We had a wonderful lunch in a beautiful, remote resort. It was just gorgeous...in the middle of the rain forest. I wholeheartedly recommend the trip. ShoreTrips was great, including answering several questions I had before the trip. I would recommend this trip to all and will use ShoreTrips again. Thanks!

Taking this private tour was one of the best choices that we have made in shore excursions. Our guide, was very knowledgeable about the Altun Ha Mayan ruins and the Belize zoo. We had the feeling that he personally knew every animal in the zoo! We had a very enjoyable experience and would highly recommend this tour. Being driven in a Lincoln Town Car beats the heck out of being herded on a large bus any time.

This ShoreTrip to the Altun Ha Mayan ruins was terrific! We had a wonderful guide and he couldn't have been more accommodating or informative. Our tour was very personalized because it was just the three of us...so nice not to be in a large group. He brought us to the ruins in an air conditioned car so it made for a very pleasant trip! We went on the Altun Ha shore trip a few weeks ago, and have nothing but praise for our trip and especially our driver and tour guide. He was a non stop source of information for several hours, knowledgeable about the history of the place, and what's going on at the present. Coming and going provided us also with an idea of what Belize City looked like as well. We loved the small van, only 8 of us went, and much prefer that to big cruise line bus tours. We happen to enjoy learning about the history and the area of places we visit; not just shopping and beaches, so will look for a similar venue should we cruise again. Thank you.

We loved this tour. There ended up only being 6 of us in the jeep plus the guide. Our guide was fabulous. He stopped whenever we asked for a beverage or photo stop. We stopped at his friend's road side stand. He gave us a platter of pineapple, coconut and papaya. We also bought a few things from them. He was so informative and so willing to answer any questions we had about the island, government,etc.

It was causal and well run...Our guide was a lot of fun, it was not just a long line of riders...they were flexible. It was cool seeing the monkeys and plantation house and the rainforest.

Our tour guide was very informative and a pleasure to tour with. We covered over 60 miles of the island. On our journey we had the privilege of seeing a "non-native" green monkey, an operating windmill, beautiful views, the blow holes, growing sugar cane fields, and cattle leashed on open land. The lunch we had was of local fair and was very good. It was a wonderful adventure seeing so much of this island traveling in the Land Rover. We would highly recommend this tour to others.

Overall the trip was very good! We saw bears (both brown and black) feeding on salmon, as well as hundreds of bald eagles and seals. The only problem was that the trip had to end! The vendor was excellent - very friendly, efficient; couldn't have been better. They were at the exact spot they were supposed to be at the right time. They even waited a few extra minutes for us when we were delayed by having to take a tender from the cruise ship ashore. I highly recommend this excursion to anyone who wants an up close and personal encounter with wild bears.

Last week my wife and I went on the Belize Cave Tubing Tour and the Chacchoben Ruins and Maya Adventure Tour. To say they were both outstanding would be an understatement. I regret that I do not remember the name of our guide for the cave tubing. He was terrific. More than once he pointed out fantastic sights that we would never have noticed on our own. Examples are baby slaty-tailed trogons in a tree cavity; a sleeping boat-tailed heron; and, unseen by other groups, howler monkeys. In the caves themselves, our small group of five felt fortunate that our guide would pause to show us special sights, while larger groups nosily went right by.

First of all I must say that reading the other feedbacks on your website do not make justice to the excellent service provided by your tour guides. In Belize we were greeted by our driver, he was very amicable and friendly, talked to us the whole length of the bus ride which was approx. 45 minutes explaining the local culture, etc. When we arrived at the caves for the tubing experience we were met by our tour guide. He was great, he explained in great detail everything we wanted to know about the jungle, birds, trees, etc. always with a smile. The cave tubing experience was great, I highly recommended to anyone that wants to experience something different and have a great time. For our second shore excursion in Costa Maya we were approx. 35 minutes late, our fault… We went to the transportation desk per your instructions and there we were met by a great guy.....the captain had been sick and the day we got there was his first day back and he wasn’t feeling too good, regardless of his ailment he got my wife and I on a car and gave us the tour. Wow, that was great… He went beyond the call of duty and showed us different places other than the Chacchoben ruins, which is the tour we paid for. He was very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor and very professional in his ways…. I will highly recommend your company to all of our friends that are planning cruise trips so that they too can experience the fantastic time we had. Great, Great Job… keep it up!!!!!

Okay, all of you thinking about going Cave Tubing in Belize on your sailing...I HIGHLY recommend it! And even more so through Shore Trips. The tour operators through Shore Trips did an amazing job. We got to go 1-2 caves higher than anyone else who booked with the cruise lines, and our guides truly guided all of us down through the caves. They are pretty dark and shallow in places, so I was glad to have a guide! Through the cruise lines, you are just left to go through on your own if you want. Some people were getting confused and lost and would try to hold on to our groups being guided down. It is not scary. Just an amazing sight and well worth the hike. It is not a bad hike...not strenuous at all. The ride to the caves is about and hour long, but the tour operators made it fun by giving you some insightful information about Belize! And finally, the lunch following the cave tubing was fantastic! All around, well worth the money, and a GREAT tour! I plan to give ShoreTrips big KUDOS for this tour, and all the other ones we did for this cruise! Have Fun!

I am the client and the travel agent and this was our first cruise. We loved this excursion. It was the last port on our cruise and we wanted something that we could do at a relaxing pace. The tour guide was great. He told us about the history of the island as well as the updates on the improvements being made since last years hurricane season. The story behind the Belize zoo was so interesting. What an incredible way to see these beautiful animals in their natural habitat. Quite a bit different than what we are used to seeing at the zoo in the states. I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone.

I can't say enough nice things about the trip. The people on the island were nice, friendly and informative. My mother, 2 kids (ages 6 & 8) and I had a great time. One of the main reasons we chose you over the stingray experience the cruise line offered is that my daughter was too young to go on theirs (min. age 8). After speaking with others on the cruise who had gone with the ship, I'm glad she was too young. Not only was their trip more expensive (about $75, I think) but there were about 150 people and they didn't get to spend as much time with the stingrays or feed them. I think it was the highlight of our trip.

This was our favorite trip of all. Seeing the "real Jamaica" by traveling through Fern Gully Rainforest on the way to Nine Mile was a real plus. Once there the site itself was very interesting as well. My two teen aged children really enjoyed seeing the birthplace of Bob Marley and hearing some of the folklore associated with it. Our driver, our Day guide, and our tour guide at the site were all just wonderful. Ja Mon!

This sidetrip was OUTSTANDING!!!!! There were just the 6 of us on this trip. We went to a resort to do our kayaking and snorkeling and also for lunch. Our guide was absolutely the best. He was very personable, professional and patient. Also, very safety conscious. He did a wonderful job with the entire group, but most especially with the people who had never kayaked before. He made sure everyone had a good time and were included no matter what their level of eperience. The spot was perfect for the kayaking and snorkeling. Remote and beautiful. We appreciated that we were the only ones on this sidetrip. That is one of the main reasons I book with Shoretrips. I like the exclusivity. And, as a Travel Agent, this is one of the things I sell to my clients about your company. Again, about this sidetrip, the included lunch was great. Lots of choices, very good food. Beautiful restaurant. The timing was perfect and everything was on time. This is an outstanding sidetrip.

Our guide was an excellent guide and very friendly. We were the only two on the ride so it was very personal and private and not touristy at all. It was the highlight of our vacation and our first time on a horse !

It was absolutely terrific. We loved the hotel and the staff. They were kind to us and looked out for us. The covered cabana helped keep off some sun for a very white Oregonian, and the huge towel and comfy mattresses were perfect for reading, relaxing and enjoying the day. The pools are beautiful. I loved having access to the ocean, but also having refuge from the vendors. The "snack" was a great lunch and the adult beverages were excellent!

This was one of the best city tours that I have ever been on and I have been on quite a few around the world. Our tour guide was great. He was very knowledgable about the city, the relics, the plant life, the weather, the biology behind tequila production, the ecological explanation of the warm and cold water and the geopgraphy of it all. Also, he answered all of my brother's questions (he is a history major) so that was a plus. The boat tour part was great as well-we had a very funny guy who made jokes. He made jokes and offered to take pictures of our family on our cameras. No complaints about this excursion whatsoever. When I filled out his company's survey afterwards, I was very happy to give him all excellent marks. From the time he met us off the ship to the time he dropped us off he was great. He made our trip to the Mexican Riveria-Cabo San Lucas memorable.

We had an excellent time and the trip was wonderful. Despite the small crowd, we had a BLAST. The "captains" of the catamaran were wonderful, pleasant, funny, sociable... just overall fantastic. Our guide at Dunn's Falls was the best. We bypassed the long line at the left and had our own tour guide. Our bus driver and tour guide were great as well. After our excursion, we used them as our taxi and they brought us to the Hard Rock Cafe so we could eat lunch and do a little shopping and then came to pick us back up. Overall, it was a FANTASTIC day and I wouldn't hesitate to book with ShoreTrips again!

Have to say, we love the endless flow of rum punch and the snorkeling. The woman on our catamaran, braided our daughters hair because all the girls had theirs done and hers was not. She was so sweet. I highly recommend this tour for anyone in Jamaica. They are fabulous and we will book with 'shore-trip' again in the future.

We LOVED our excursion,out of the 3 cruise ports of call, this was our best. We had done our research, and you offered exactly what we wanted to see, experience, and learn at the best price. First of all, we too are "interpreters" of nature, history, culture, and heritage, belonging to three organizations of such businesses, and have seen many "interpreters." So, when we say that Davide and Silvana were top notch, we are comparing them to many. The event used all our senses. They both were able to make the explanations understandable and relate to us and our own lives. Their English was excellent, and Davide's accent charming. We had hoped to stand on the ruins, at least touch them, and did. We had no idea how many there would be. We also appreciated the "interpretation" of several of the plants and trees along the way. The final "icing on the cake" was to get to see the Mayan village, meet the family, make our own "wah", eat the delicious dishes, see the dance, and have a tour of their church and land. It was all more than we had hoped. I hope to have future contact with David and Silvana, for whom I have much admiration. They were both friendly and professional.

We had a terrific time! The land portion of the trip was very nice, the accomodations were great, we met some really nice couples, enjoyed the bus and train and got to see alot on our tour into Denali. Things went perfectly and we were very pleased with our selection of ShoreTrips on the cruise. Your recommendations were tops! We ended up having a private tour and hike in Skagway with a charming and knowledgeable Irishman. In Juneau the helicopter ride was excellent, the weather beautiful and the scerery breathtaking. I got to sit in front so I took some gorgeous pictures. In Ketchican we had a delightful time with our guide in her 55 Chevy. She remembers you and said to be sure to greet you. Our flights were smooth both ways and we made all our connections...the one in Denver coming home. It was a MOST wonderful vacation.....and we can't thank you enough!

We very much enjoyed the snorkel tour and beach day. We were taken care of very well. Treated like royalty and the staff was great. They gave us a lot of time snorkeling, which is what we liked best. The water in Cozumel was absolutely beautiful. There are some purple coral, not much. Food was great, so were the drinks.

I have to say, we were quite pleased with the service we received from shoretrips. My wife, 2 daughters and I went on our first cruise ever, a 4 day/night trip to the Bahamas. The airboat tour was incredible, great guide, extremely personable and knowledgeable...and brave...maybe a little crazy, too. It was fabulous! The plantation tour was also wonderful, it gave us an entirely different perspective on history there. The plantation guide was also fantastic. It was just the two of us on this portion of the trip, and we really enjoyed the one-on-one discussions with both her and the man who drove us to and from the tour. The trip was worth every dime, and everything went off without a hitch...no problems, no suggestions for improvements. Thanks so much for your assistance, my boyfriend and I considered this tour the highlight of our trip!
