Getting Started

1. From the Home Page, Click on a City or Port to view the excursions for that location.
2. Click the Trip Name in order to find out details about that trip.
3. Once logged on as a Registered User (see Creating an Account) use the left menu, entitled "My Options", as your navigation bar.

This will take you back and forth to all your main pages. It's that simple!

Creating a New Account  


1. Click "Create an account" under the New User's Heading.
2. On the next page, click the New User heading
3. Enter your unique ShoreTrips ID, etc. Your ID must be at least 6 characters.
4. Click "Submit" to send your information. Return to the Home Page and Feel Free to Browse while you wait for your password to be sent to you.
5. Your password will be sent to you, via email, to the address you entered in the "Email Address" field.
6. Once you receive your Password, Go to the ShoreTrips Home Page and enter your ShoreTrips ID and Password. Check the box "Remember Me" to have ShoreTrips remember your ShoreTrips ID each time you come to the site.
7. Click "Sign In". You are now browsing the site as a registered user.

Changing your password

1. Under "My Options" in the left menu bar, Click "Change Password."
2. Enter your old password, new password, and confirm your new password
3. Click "Save"
(You will receive confirmation that your password was successfully changed.)

My Trip Planner  


ShoreTrips are purchased by first building a TRIP PLANNER (our lingo for a 'shopping cart') and then moving your selected trips into it. You can select (without obligation) as many trips as you like. Essentially it's like bookmarking the trips you find interesting.

Try building a TRIP PLANNER - think of it as a mini-brochure that holds the trips you're planning to purchase. The TRIP-PLANNER is able to hold as many trips as you like... in as many ports as you like.

If you are putting together a TRIP PLANNER for a group... you are able to email it to everyone in the group. It's easy to share the information.

 

Creating a New Trip Planner

1. Under "My Options", Click "My Trip Planners"
2. Click the New Trip Planner Icon
3. Enter your trip information in their respective boxes. The "Trip Planner" name can be whatever you'd like it to be, (ie: "Our First Excursion".) Essentially you're creating a place holder to store your selected trips.
4. Click "Save"

Adding a Trip to your Trip Planner

1. After you've browsed and found a trip
2. Click the "Pencil Icon" to Add the Excursion to your Planner
3. Select the Planner to add it to (if there are more than one)
4. Click "Save" (you'll receive confirmation)
5. Click "Back to Browsing Trips" to add more Excursions

Viewing a Trip Planner

1. Under "My Trip Planners", click the view Planner Icon
2. View, edit or delete any of the info.
3. Click "Save"

Deleting a Trip Planner  

(see Creating a New Trip Planner)

1. Under "My Trip Planners", click the delete Planner Icon
2. It'll ask you if you really want to delete this trip, Click "OK"
3. The Trip Planner is deleted along with all of the trips included in the Planner.

Emailing a Trip Planner

1. Under "My Trip Planners", click the email icon
2. Enter the email address of the person you'd like this Planner sent to.
3. Enter your email address, a subject and the message
4. Click "Send"
You will receive a confirmation that the email was sent.

Editing a Trip Planner

1. Under "My Trip Planners", click the View Icon
2. Edit the information you want changed
3. Click Save

Sharing a Trip Planner  
(see Creating a New Trip Planner)

ShoreTrips gives you the opportunity to Share a Trip Planner with your travel agent. Why would you want to do this?!? One, it allows you to select the trips that interest you and have your travel agent look them over, just for your benefit. Two, it allows you to select the trips you want and then have your travel agent actually do the booking for you!

To Share a Trip:


1. Click the View Planner Icon
2. Click the "Share" button located at the bottom of the planner.
3. Contact your travel agent to share this Trip Planner. Your agent will need the Trip Planner ID. If you do not want to share the Trip Planner with your travel agent, click the "Unshare" button.
4. Click "Save"
