Here is a man who, while growing up, spent most of his free time in the mangrove eco-system of Antigua's North Coast. This is an area he knows like the back of his hand. You'll feel like old friends by the end of the tour.

This tour will take you on a journey to the hidden reefs, islands, and unique areas of Antigua's North Sound.

Traveling by powerboat, along the scenic leeward side of Antigua towards the north coast, you will find the pristine eco-system of the North Sound area and its interesting history. The calm, clear waters here are protected by little islands, reefs, flats, and mangroves. This area is great for spotting the amazing variety of wildlife both above and below the sea.

We briefly enter into the Atlantic Ocean on our way to an area the locals call "Heavena." Here the water turns an amazing azure blue.

You'll have a delicious lunch on the boat while moored in one of the beautiful bays of Bird Island. For the more adventurous, you can embark on a little expedition to explore Hells Gate and the hidden caves. Or take the easy nature trail up to the summit to see the spectacular views of the North Sound and the north coast of Antigua. Remember to bring your camera. If you choose not to hike, simply relax on the shore or swim in the refreshing azure waters.

You'll have two different opportunities for snorkeling after lunch. The boat has a fresh water shower and a restroom on board.
