SEVEN SISTERS WATERFALL HIKE

SEVEN SISTERS WATERFALL HIKE
ShoreTrips says...
Grenada realized its natural resources long ago and has protected them through their Forestry Department. The Grand Etang National Park, located in the interior of the island, has wonderful trails that take you through this tropical paradise. There is nothing like a hike to set you free.
This may be a misleading name for a tour, as Seven Sisters Falls is a series of beautiful falls, though they don't total seven. You certainly won't be disappointed as you discover the true Grenada on this adventure. This is a moderate hike and your guides are trained to make sure you travel safely and in comfort.
Your 30-minute drive from the center of St. George's changes at every mile and soon you understand why hiking on Grenada is so popular. The wildness of the jungle is exciting and tantalizing. The guides will hand you a hiking stick and for 45 minutes, they will guide you downward on a mud trail that is covered in nutmeg shells. After all, you are on the Spice Island!
Once you reach the first of two waterfalls in the heart of the dense rainforest, you can slip on your swimsuit and enjoy the rewards of the crystal clear pool at the base of the falls.
The water pressure almost feels like a massage as you stand underneath its flow. Sounds of the jungle are around you and you may catch the sounds of the monkeys that make this jungle their home. For those who are agile and want to feel like Tarzan, there is a Tree Root Ladder to climb up.
This will be an unforgettable 4-hour experience!
