NEW KLAIPEDA, THEN OLD KLAIPEDA
After a pick up from the cruise terminal you will be introduced to the charming coastal city of Klaipeda, and it's mix of old and new. Once a Prussian capital, Klaipeda has a unique culture and German flare in the heart of Lithuania.
We will begin with a panoramic sightseeing tour of the new town, passing modern buildings as well as residential areas and Klaipeda University. Upon arrival to the Old Town, we will embark on a guided walking tour. With architecture spanning the 18th century amongst newly renovated buildings, you will find this an interesting history lesson, and a beautiful city!
Our destination is Theatre Square, home to the Taravos Anike sculpture. On any day you can expect craftsmen in the streets. Klaipeda is a town best discovered on your own - and after our introduction you will have time to enjoy the town where you'll least expect it.
