KAYAK AND EXPLORE THE ISLAND WATER LOOP

KAYAK AND EXPLORE THE ISLAND WATER LOOP
ShoreTrips says...
To me, kayaking always seemed like a heavy-duty sport, but, in recent years, it has become a popular activity for all ages. The new, lightweight, sit-on-top kayaks bring you up close to life in, around, and under the water.
Explore the largest salt water lagoon in the Antilles. Its rich waters are a paradise where marine species come to reproduce and start their growth before returning to the open sea.
For this tour, we use the sit-on-top type kayaks, which offer exceptional stability and are very easy to use. The open cockpit design allows even inexperienced paddlers an easy entry and exit from the kayak.
After a short kayaking lesson, you'll be ready to head out from the beach for a paddle into the Simpson Bay Lagoon, the largest in the Caribbean. Passing the marinas, we head to the lush Bellevue mangroves for a well deserved break. Keep an eye open for the rare blue herons that nest in this area!
Your next stop is quiet Simpson Bay Beach for a stretch, a walk and a swim. Then you'll head back to our headquarters, where a well-deserved cold refreshment awaits.
