SAIL & SNORKEL ON OUR FRIENDLY CATAMARAN

SAIL & SNORKEL ON OUR FRIENDLY CATAMARAN
ShoreTrips says...
Spend a fabulous half-day on St. Maarten--sailing, partying, and playing in the sand and sea--aboard a 38-foot catamaran! This popular tour fills quickly - don't wait to book!
The friendly, experienced crew of this nicely appointed 38' catamaran will entertain you with stories about the island, Caribbean music, and dancing!
As you sail from the Great Bay of Philipsburg along the palm-lined seashore framed by emerald hills, you'll see some of St. Maarten's famous sights--Fort Amsterdam, Little Bay, Cay Bay, and Pelican Key.
Your snorkel might be one of four top snorkeling locations and is determined by sea and weather conditions. You might stop at Shipwreck Bay to observe the many types of undersea life which have taken up residence in the shipwreck, Mullet Bay Beach, or the Lagoon, all of which are brimming with marine life. You'll have approximately 45 minutes to discover the brilliant colors of this underwater world and its inhabitants--starfish, octopus, angelfish, barracuda, sea urchins, stingray, snapper, squid, and ballyhoo!
There will be a beach stop with an opportunity for more snorkeling, or if you wish, grab a noodle and a beverage and play in the crystal-clear water or just stay on the boat, take in the scenery and relax. If you wish, you can remain at the beach for a while longer to enjoy the tropical breezes and soft sand. Two beach chairs and an umbrella are available for rent for $10, payable at the beach. You will then be responsible for returning to the ship on your own.
Your captain will be sure to take you near Princess Juliana Airport to watch the low-flying planes come in for a landing, a popular "must-do" activity on the island.
On the return sail, bask in the sun, the beauty of the ocean and the island with Caribbean music and dancing for a perfect ending to your happy day in this little paradise!
