Istria is the largest peninsula in the Adriatic Sea. Three countries share this peninsula - Croatia, Italy and often overlooked, Slovenia. This region is a natural reserve with fertile soil and has an abundant natural and historical heritage. Koper, your city of arrival, is the historical core and represents the most picturesque parts of the north Istria. The waterfront is perfect for the many regattas that take place in the Bay of Koper. Portorož has a casino, a sport airport and marina and it has been discovered as tourists from all over Europe and other countries as well vacation here. It is an internationally known holiday centre and climatic health seaside resort.
