ShoreTrips says...

Salmon, halibut, snapper, cod, shark, and many other species abound in the waters of S.E. Alaska--and photo opportunities for wildlife are endless.

Ketchikan is the "Salmon Capital of the World" and it lives up to its title every year!

Your half-day adventure begins when you're greeted up at the cruise ship pier, and transferred to your privately charted vessel. For our seniors or guests in need of some assistance, enjoy courtesy transportation to and from the boat dock. Once onboard this vessel, your skipper will take you out on the water on their 6-passenger boat to where both the fishing and sightseeing are excellent. While onboard, enjoy our Suite Class Service, our spacious salons, large fishing decks, private heated bathrooms and hand washing sinks, with a wonderful food and beverage service.

Not only will you have a great day on the water, you can enjoy the day a little more with the experience from your guide who is well-acquainted with the whereabouts of the local fish population. Enjoy some beverages, name brand sodas, bottled water, hot tea, cocoa, hot cider, snacks, fruit. If you need some extra energy to reel in the big one, enjoy some coffee and pastries for our morning charters and finger sandwiches for our afternoon charters..

Soak up the surroundings and the fresh air in Ketchikan. Also included will be all your bait, tackle, gear and equipment. Child life vests are also available, but you can bring your own if you feel comfortable with your own.

The captain says "Fish in May and June for king salmon, July and August for pinks, August and September for coho and June and July for chums!"
