After a pick up from your hotel or the cruise pier, we are headed just north of Seattle to the beautiful Skagit Valley! Learn about the region's fascinating geology and tulip production history we escape the city, with snow-capped mountains coming into view on clear days. After an hour driving, we'll hit the back roads for our first glimpses of daffodils and tulip fields, like giant swatches on the landscape. Our first stop is Roozengaarde with skip the line entrance. Even on a busy day, you’ll rarely wait more than a minute or two to enter and have the tulip fields to yourself. Roozengaarde's tulip display garden is on 5 acres and is planted with approximately 250,000 tulips each year.

Next, stop in La Conner, a charming seaside town rich with history, and many buildings date from the late 19th century, retaining old world charm. Your guide will share some of the town's history and offer suggestions on the best lunch spots amongst the many cafes.

Energized after lunch, you’ll visit Tulip Town in the afternoon. In addition to expansive tulip fields, Tulip Town has a delightful gift shop featuring local artists' work and crafted keepsakes.

Last, we’ll visit a local winery where adults can enjoy a complimentary glass of wine along with artisanal cheese, organic bread, and other delicious finger food, all produced in the Skagit Valley.
