Though the water is enticing, there is nothing like a drive through Santa Ynez Valley in Santa Barbara County. Your driver is a local and knows the secrets to the special sights and stops and pertinent information to make your time here special. So to begin, head towards the Santa Ynez Valley, flush with star-studded wineries.

Santa Ynez Valley Wine Trail is comprised of rolling vistas of farms, and horse and cattle ranches, as well as vineyards and wineries. The laid-back culture of the Santa Ynez Valley is part of the magic. Here, you will find passionate people making their living at the things that make life special and those interests about which they are passionate. Take advantage of the local produce that abounds at charming markets throughout the trail as this is your tour. When you make your booking, we will ask you questions about your tastes in wine and whether you want some private tastings by appointment.

Your day will consist of three very special wineries, based on your tastes. A special picnic lunch will accompany you, and your driver will stop whenever, wherever you wish for a gourmet lunch, which we include in your package. Most commonly-planted varietals include Pinot Noir, Syrah, Grenache, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon. In total, there are 16 different varietals planted.

If you prefer just two tastings and then time to visit the Danish town of Solvang, you will feel as if you have been dropped into a different country. There are plenty of tasting rooms, boutiques, horse and carriages, and the chance to take your picture with a windmill.
