This is a day with no regrets. You will have seen the highlights in and outside of the city, from below and from above. It's perfect!

This interesting tour is a must for first time visitors to Kuala Lumpur. During your day, the magic of this city will be unveiled to you, showing you the beauty and charm of the old and new Kuala Lumpur, also called the Garden City of Light. Malaysia's biggest city is also relatively young, as it evolved from a small town in the mid-1800s to a center for financial and commercial business.

From the port, you will take a drive into the Klang Valley, where the city sits protected. The attractions and highlights are many and some warrant a photo stop, others such as the National Monument, the National Museum, the Sultan Abdul Samad Building. and the Tudor-styled Cricket Club will be part of your view while listening to the history as you pass. At the King's Palace and the National Mosque, stop and take in the views, as well as some photos.

Now that you have become familiar with this bustling city and its history, your guide will take you to the world-renowned Petronas Twin Towers. The ride up and the walk across the skybridge to visit the observation deck is one of the biggest draws of the city. The towers soar to a height of 1,483 ft. and rise 88 stories. It is an internationally-recognized symbol of modern Malaysia and was designed by the famous architect Cesar Pelli. You will see the city in its entirety from here as you walk across the glass walkway.

Catch your breath at a local restaurant for some lunch before visiting the Royal Selangor Pewter Factory. This is the largest pewter manufacturer in the world. Enjoy a brief tour around the factory in which you will not only learn about its history, but you will also be given a demonstration of some of the many processes of a pewter product such as casting, filling, polishing, and hammering. A chance to bring home a wonderful souvenir should be a consideration.

Another beautiful craft that is prevalent in this area of the world is batik. We will make a brief stop at the Batik Centre, where you will discover how the popular Malaysian fabric is designed and printed. It is fascinating to see this wax and dye process and the items created with the finished fabric.

The last part of the tour will be the most exciting, as you will proceed to the Batu Caves. This world-famous limestone outcrop houses a Hindu temple and is visited by thousands of pilgrims and tourists every year. Before climbing up the 272 stairs in order to reach the main cave temple, you will have a chance to admire the impressive golden structure of the 140 ft. tall statue of Hindu God Lord Murugan located at the entrance. Once you reach the top, you will not only be greeted by several cheeky monkeys, but you will also have a great view of the beautiful skyline of Kuala Lumpur.

You'll enjoy dinner at Old China Café before returning to the port .
