Shanghai has 3 cruise ship ports. The one located in the city center is called the Shanghai International Cruise Terminal. The other two, which are located about an hour out of town, are the Waigao Qiao Cruise Terminal and the Wusongkou Cruise Terminal. This tour is priced based on picking up passengers at the Waigao Qiao Cruise Terminal and the Wusongkou Cruise Terminal.

A day spent in Zhujiajiao represents the perfect opportunity to explore the vibrant waterways that made old China famous. As one of the first major towns in China, this Venice of Shanghai will amaze you with its contrast to the bustling city just an hour away. With distinct old bridges and a river system that serves as the vein to everyday life, you will feel as though you have traveled back in time to the Ming and Qing dynasties.

There are two aspects of this village that stand out the most; The Fangsheng Bridge and Bei Dajie or "North Street." It is rare that a destination is best known for its bridges but with 36 in town, you will quickly learn of their importance and unique designs. The most popular is the Fanghseng Bridge which is the largest stone arch bridge in greater Shanghai and gives a home to endless merchants selling everything from crafts to batteries. You will get the perfect view from above and underneath as you pass it again on a private boat ride through the intricate waterways.

On North Street, you will see the obvious reasons for travelers' love affair with this ancient water town. The narrow walking streets with endless shops, cafes and restaurants are set up in a way that is both lucid and majestic at the same time. Swing by the door of the local fortune teller if you dare take a peek into your future! At the northern edge of the old district, you will find the serene Kezhi garden which is home to a five-story pavilion, the largest building in Zhujiajiao. Like many landmarks in China it has been redefined over the years with countless wars and revolutions but now serves as a place of learning and reflection. You will either have lunch at a place that catches your eye within Zhujiajiao or at a location back in Shanghai.
