ShoreTrips says...

With a population of over 4 million people and climbing, kayaking along the Yarra River provides a unique way to see the city, as it often serves as a focal point for cultural activities and celebrations.

Roads and streets can be obnoxious. Stoplights, one-ways, and regulations making you zig every which way. The pulse of Melbourne can be found on the Yarra River, so ditch the sidewalks and hop into a kayak for a water level perspective of this famous Australian city.

A quick briefing and paddling lesson will rev you up for your journey down river under the Princes Bridge and into the heart of the city. Look up at the hustle and bustle of Flinders Station as you approach the iconic Polly Woodside Tallship at the South Wharf. From here, you will enter the Docklands precinct, which is home to the up-and-coming Yarra's Edge Marina. After a short break, you will head back upstream past Crown Casino into the lively South Bank district with a final return to where you started.

Get a feel for the city without the crowds!

These guys have some of the best kayaks in the city, making this program perfect for beginners and experts.
