RAFTING ON THE MARTHA BRAE WITH DUNN'S RIVER FALLS

RAFTING ON THE MARTHA BRAE WITH DUNN'S RIVER FALLS
ShoreTrips says...
The Martha Brae raft trip is famous. At first we hesitated offering it from Ocho Rios as the ride is 1-1/2 hours, but so many people requested it that we added it with success.
Your trip begins at the cruise pier as you make your way through the Jamaican countryside from Ocho Rios to the Martha Brae. Although the purpose of this transfer is to take you to the site of the rafting trip, the ride along the coastline will take you through small towns and allow you to truly see how interesting Jamaica is.
The rafting trip down this 3-mile stretch of the well-known Martha Brae is one of the most exhilarating in Jamaica. The journey takes about 90 minutes on the long, 2 person bamboo rafts poled by your skilled guide. The upper reaches tumble at a good pace before slowing farther down river where you stop at "Tarzan's Corner" for a swing and a swim in a calm pool.
After the relaxation of the Martha Brae, enjoy your ride back to Ocho Rios where you will head to Dunn's River Falls, for a little physical activity. Climbing Dunn's River Falls is one of those "must do" activities for anyone visiting Jamaica.
You might plan to enjoy a snack at either location, where the choices of local food is bountiful. Your food is not included in the price.
