ST. LUCIA SPORT FISHING - INDIVIDUAL SPACES
ST. LUCIA SPORT FISHING - INDIVIDUAL SPACES
ShoreTrips says...
Barry and I were overwhelmed with St. Lucia's options. With beaches, forts, and forest-smothered hills, the area around Castries is well worth exploring. In contrast to other islands, St. Lucia has only recently begun to attract visitors in larger quantities. As a result, tourism has a much lower profile here, and we think it is one of the island's biggest assets.
Enjoy sport fishing in St. Lucia with our experienced and friendly crew without having to charter the whole boat. There's also no need to be an experienced fisherman (or woman) to try your hand. Our crew will be happy to show you the best techniques for landing the "big one."
Due to the volcanic nature of the island, the underwater drop-off area--where fish are known to congregate--is only 2 miles off the coastline. You'll be fishing before you know it, with our diesel powered boats, all of which are tournament rigged with the very best fishing equipment. As you troll, you and your fellow fishermen will take turns in the fighting chair, switching about every 10-15 minutes.
Typically, the best time for catching wahoo and dorado is from February to May. August to December is best for blue marlin, sailfish, and yellow fin tuna. However, these fish inhabit the waters of St. Lucia year round, making for an exciting day any time of the year.
Your captain and crew strongly believe in conservation and, thus, strictly practice catch-and-release of all billfish, so make sure you bring your camera to show off your catch to everyone back home.
