ShoreTrips says...

This active tour is perfect for people who want to get out and discover the incredible sights that St. John's Caneel Bay has to offer. Get wet, soak up the sun, take in the awesome scenery, and have a blast exploring this little slice of paradise!

This tour has it all! Kayak, hike, and snorkel in Caneel Bay on St. John with the pristine Virgin Islands National Park as the backdrop for this wonderful excursion!

On this three-hour adventure, you'll paddle over crystal clear, turquoise waters and colorful coral reefs, and hike along a tropical wooded trail with breathtaking views of the British Virgin Islands.

Be on the lookout for a variety of birds such as brown pelicans, magnificent frigates, masked boobies, and a wide variety of terns. You'll see many beautiful white sandy beaches shaded by sea grape trees, coconut palms, majestic mahogany, and tropical forests providing habitat for over 800 species of plants. See for yourself why this area is an important UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Explore the trail on Turtle Point as our nature guides point out native and exotic flora and fauna.

The coral reefs at Caneel Bay provide some of the the best opportunities for snorkeling. The easy beach entry is perfect for beginners and the snorkeling is effortless. Your professional 'Snorklogist' Eco Tour Guide practices good reef snorkeling techniques. You'll wear a life jacket, instead of fins, in order to protect the fragile coral in the shallow waters beneath you. You'll snorkel with sea turtles and sting rays, and be shown parrot fish, elkhorn and staghorn corals, and a wide variety of colorful marine life!
