From there you'll make your way to Kiel’s Old Town to see the stately Art Nouveau Town Hall, the Kieler Hauptkirche (St. Nikolai central church), and the city’s Monastery. The monks are known for the fine, hearty beer they produce and you'll raise a glass to this fine tradition of hoisting a beer while snacking on local Kieler Sprotte. Kieler Sprotte is fish that is smoked in a wood-burning oven, over beech and alder boughs and are presented in wooden boxes, a true taste of Kiel!
