ShoreTrips says...
Sit back and relax as you travel the two hours to Florence in comfort and style. The time will fly by as you make your way through countryside lush with vineyards and olive orchards.
ShoreTrips' PREMIUM shared van tours are a perfect choice if you are looking for a deluxe tour that's economical but without the crowds of a big bus.
We will confirm your reservation when we have at least 4 passengers booked. You will be notified about two weeks prior to the start of the cruise with options of more expensive private trips if we are not able to run the shared tour.
When you arrive in Florence, you'll meet your guide and go to the Accademia. You'll also see the Santa Croce Church, where legends such as Michelangelo, Galileo, Machiavelli, and Rossini are all buried.
You are now in the middle of the walking area, only five minutes from the best shopping area in town. Check out the Piazza della Signoria--with Palazzo Vecchio and Ponte Vecchio, the famous 14th century covered bridge--home of Florence's gold shops!
On return, detour to Pisa, where you will park in the middle of the famous "Field of Miracles." This square is the site of Pisa's Baptistery, Campo Santo, Duomo, and, of course, the Campanile, better known as the Leaning Tower. Make sure to bring your camera!
After you leave Pisa, you will head back to your cruise ship.
