Many people around the world would have a hard time finding Punta Delgada on a map which may be the essence of its beauty. The unique combination of architecture, agriculture and Azores makes this one of the most captivating destinations on the globe. On this full day tour you will see all the major sights from the breathtaking natural landscape of the Sete Cidades Lagoons to the isolated community of Mosteiros.

Departing from Ponta Delgada, you will visit the lookout of Vista to Rei for one of the most magnificent panoramic views of the Azores, the Sete Cidades Lagoons. Moving on, you'll continue to the beautiful coastline and discover the small towns of Mosterios and Bretanha. We'll take a break for lunch in Bretanha, with local favorites ranging from baked octopus to a traditional beef prepared in a way that is unique to the Azores Islands.

Refreshed and rested, the tour continues with a drive past Ribeira Grande, which was named for the stream that runs through it, en route to Lagoa de Fogo, the highest lagoon on the island. Your journey here might have you convinced that a whole day could be spent staring at this remarkable crater lake but don't let this distract you too much from your final stop at a local Pineapple plantation. The sample of Pineapple liquor will provide the perfect finale to a wonderful day!
