With your private guide at the wheel, we will explore interesting and charming locations along Nova Scotia's south shore.
When the Titanic sank in the North Atlantic in 1912, many of the victims were laid to rest in Nova Scotia's Fairview Cemetery. A stop here will make the luxury liner's story seem much more real as you view some of the 121 graves of Titanic victims.
On a lighter note, our tour continues on to the sleepy town of Chester, population 1,200. With leafy streets, beautiful homes and magnificent harbor views, Chester is a lovely place to explore.
Mahone Bay is a picture perfect post card! A stop will be made at this fishing village, giving you the opportunity to view the charming cottages, browse the art galleries and interesting shops, visit the museum dedicated to its boat building history and enjoy the 3 local churches.
Moving a little farther down the coast is the UNESCO World Heritage town of Lunenburg. Rich in maritime history, a guided tour will provide many stories of pirates and ship wrecks along Nova Scotia's rugged coastline and the possibility of buried treasure on Oak Island.
Enjoyable, informative and interesting. What more could you ask for?
