Your day begins with a pickup at the cruise pier in a comfortable, roomy vehicle with space for up to 6 guests. You'll receive a short tour of the interesting city of Halifax, learning about its history and culture before beginning the drive to the beautiful Annapolis Valley. En route, discuss your wishes for the day with your guide.

The Annapolis Valley is perfectly suited to agriculture with gentle slopes, rich clay soils, and an ideal Maritime climate. In recent years, grape production has taken off and the area has earned a reputation as a producer of fine, award-winning wines. Just say the word and your guide will deliver you to one, two or even three of the area's best wineries to tour or sample their finest varietals.

If cider is more to your liking, you might choose to visit a local cider company. Using apples from a nearby orchard, this company produces both traditional and creative ciders for your tasting pleasure.

And of course, beer tasting is an option as well. You can trust your guide to steer you to the best beer in the Valley.

Perhaps you'd like to learn what goes into turning simple milk into delicious cheese. We'll visit a 6th generation family farm that ensures the highest quality by using only milk produced by its own herd of cows to make cheese, gelato and yogurt.

We suggest a stop at The Look Off for fantastic views of farmer's fields, orchards, vineyards and tidal mud flats. Located up the North Mountain, this vantage point will give you a true appreciation for the beauty of the Annapolis Valley.

We'll visit the Fundy shore, home to some of the highest tides in the world. This phenomenon of nature provides the unique opportunity to walk on the ocean floor at low tide. Explore the Minas Basin, where semi-precious minerals and fossils are often found. As the day progresses, you will actually be able to see the cycle of the tides, from low to high.

When hunger calls, your guide will recommend a terrific place for lunch, based on your culinary preferences.
