ShoreTrips says...

This company has been in operation for over 20 seasons and has provided first-rate service to more than 5,000 fishermen (fisherwomen, too!) and 5,000 sightseeing clients.

Your 6-hour fishing adventure begins when you're greeted up at the cruise ship pier, and escorted to your charted vessel. Your skipper, who has 20+ years of experience fishing the famous waters around Ketchikan, will take you out in his 6-passenger boat to where both the fishing and sightseeing are excellent.

The captain is well-acquainted with the whereabouts of the local fish population and his boat-- which features a heated, enclosed cabin and restroom facilities--is outfitted with the perfect equipment for serious fishing. Of course, we'll supply all of the tackle for this awesome expedition.

As you head out of the harbor, be prepared for excitement. Halibut are feisty (and tasty) fish who put up quite a fight. Experienced fishermen will be in their glory! But even if this is the first time with a pole in your hand, rest assured your very accomplished captain and crew will be there to provide all the needed advice and assistance to help you "land the big one".

Please be aware that there is a limit of one halibut per person. The fish must measure 38” or less or 80” or more. You may catch and release up to the point that a fish is retained. At that point, you have caught your limit and are through fishing halibut for the day, but trust us, one will be plenty.
