ShoreTrips says...

There are too many great reasons to fish here! You are in the middle of salmon country. The fishing is very accessible. The boats are pristine. The scenery is incredible. And on and on.

You will be in a terrific location when you board your boat--and the boat itself is brand-new and fully equipped with the latest equipment and technology.

The captain of the boat is young, enthusiastic, and helpful. He wants you to experience the best fishing in British Columbia and will give you all the tools and equipment necessary to do so, including Salmon Slayer Specialty Rigs that are "guide-tied" with care and knowledge, increasing your success when in pursuit of Pacific Salmon. Many visitors take these special rigs back to use in their local waters.

Salmon fishing remains good in the Vancouver area and the short run to the fishing grounds only takes 15-20 minutes before you drop your lines! This has been a solid winter-to-spring transition, as fishing has produced steady action with many winter Chinook being caught, some weighing in at 18-20 lbs.

We fish at depths of 80 to 180 feet (close to the bottom) with bait or spoons. Successful anglers have been fishing close to the bottom and quite deep, off of the downrigger.

The surrounding Granville Island area is composed of many interesting places for visitors to sample. You will enjoy the vibrant market, restaurants, pubs, gift shops, book stores, art galleries, theatres, and False Creek harborside activities. The view from this area is one of the most beautiful in the city and that makes it a definite stop for fishing, cruising, and leisure time pursuits.
