Vancouver is one of the most exciting cities we have visited--ever. Its bustle has been created by the building of lots of residential development in the downtown area, producing a natural electricity.

The North Shore has much to see. We'll take you to two of the most interesting sights and give you time to soak it all in.

We'll start your tour from your hotel and drive through Stanley Park and over the Lions Gate Bridge enroute to the North Shore Mountain playground.

Your first stop will be the exploration of the famous Capilano Suspension Bridge, which stretches 230 feet above Capilano River. Be sure and check out the new Treetops Adventure, the first venue of its kind in North America, offering a squirrel's eye view of the thriving coastal forest. You'll venture from one magnificent Douglas fir tree to another on a series of elevated suspension bridges, some reaching as high as 100 feet above the forest floor. Also, at the 27-acre park, we'll stop to visit traditional native totem pole carvers and their large display of poles and crafts, take a few minutes to walk through and admire the impressive Living Forest exhibit, and make a stop at the wonderful gift shop filled with a unique collection of souvenirs.

Next, we'll venture up to Grouse Mountain! Step aboard the Skyride and get ready to experience a one-mile journey to the Peak of Vancouver. High above the towering trees, you'll take in breathtaking views of the city of Vancouver, the sparkling Pacific Ocean, the Gulf Islands, and nearby mountain peaks. You'll have ample time to grab something to eat, catch the humorous Lumberjack Show, watch a Birds in Motion Demonstration, or observe a grizzly bear in the Refuge for Endangered Wildlife atop Grouse Mountain.

After an adventure-filled day, enjoy the descent off the mountain and a leisurely ride back into the city for drop-off at the cruise ship pier.
