CATAMARAN DAY SAIL TO ICACOS ISLAND

CATAMARAN DAY SAIL TO ICACOS ISLAND
San Juan is the gateway to Puerto Rico's culture, history, products such as coffee and chocolate, but don't forget that it is an island. It offers tropical waters that are pristine and great swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing while you travel on beautiful catamarans and sailboats in the waters surrounding the mostly the northern and eastern coastline.
On this catamaran, you will find yourself in heaven. The boat will take you on a comfortable 45-minute ride to Icacos Island, a small, uninhabited island off the coast of Fajardo, off the eastern coastline. It forms part of the Cordillera Keys Nature Reserve and is under the jurisdiction of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment. The waters are perfect every day and the snorkeling, in this protected area, delivers. If the winds are not cooperating that day, you will head for the Fajardo Keys, which continues the series of islands in the Cordillera Keys, such as Lobos, Palomino or Palominito. You are not stepping on these islands but enjoying the waters around them.
Once your boat anchors, you can disembark and play in the water or walk to the beach. You may bring your own snorkeling equipment and snorkel on your own from the shore, walk the sandy beach, or just relax and sunbathe at leisure.
