Roatan is part of the second-longest reef system in the world. It is pristine and colorful and the waters are warm with fantastic visbility.
Here at ShoreTrips, we're big fans of snorkeling. And we're even bigger fans of doing it in small groups. Forget splashing around with 100 people...this tour is all about small group sizes and lots of underwater goodies!
Just out the front door of the dive shop is a Marine Reserve that stretches over 8 miles and includes some of the best snorkeling in the world. There are turtles, rays, eels, lobsters and king crabs aplenty, as well as a huge variety of fish and lots of really healthy coral.
Your captain will determine the snorkeling sites based on the day's weather and water conditions. Some of the sites could be: Mandy's Eel Garden, Shallow Seaquest, Blue Channel, Fish Den, Green Outhouse, and Pillar Coral. All of these sites have excellent snorkeling with very shallow coral.

Taxi and Transfers Required Specific pick up or taxi instructions will appear on your voucher after you purchase your trip.Special Instructions
• Please note, there is only a small shaded awning on the boat, so please wear sunblock. You will want to bring a towel, sunscreen, snacks (perhaps a granola bar), hat and sunglasses. Snorkeling equipment is included.
• The easiest and fastest way to get to the dive shop is to take a taxi ($15 per person one way) from the Port of Roatan cruise pier. If you are coming into the new Mahogany Bay dock (Carnival/Princess ships), it is a 25-minute taxi ride to the dive shop, and will cost approximately $80 round trip, for up to 4 passengers. Specific instructions will appear on your voucher.
