With a local as your guide, we will take you on a journey to uncover the lesser known temples surrounding Siem Reap.

After a pick up from your hotel our first visit will be to Preah Kahn Temple. This jewel is often neglected but worth a full exploration. Arriving in the morning, crowds are often nowhere to be found. Beautiful overgrown vegetation makes the ruin look like a copy of Ta Prohm. Exit the temple on the East side where your vehicle awaits for a short transfer to Banteay Prei, a small Khmer temple located in the Angkor complex. This small temple is practically deserted, allowing for great photo opportunities.

Next we will head for Neak Poan, an artificial island and unlike any other temple in the Angkor area. The nearby Ta Som Temple has beautiful features that are not to be missed. Although the crowds increase slightly in the afternoon, a walk to rear of the temple is very rewarding, with the opportunity to take pictures of a fig tree that has partially taken over the structure.
