Walking through Havana is often compared to walking through a car museum with old-school American brand vehicles lining the streets. This isn't just a result of citizens trying to look "hip" but instead an effect of a multiple decade long ban on foreign vehicles. We'll grab one of these now famous cars and take off for some of the most famous areas around Havana. At the Colon Cemetery, named after Christopher Columbus, you will see a unique 150 acre grid layout that organizes occupants in order of their social class. The higher you were regarded socially, the more prominent your spot is on main boulevards. The stories are endless among its inhabitants!
The suburb of Miramar was the hub of wealth and upscale residents prior the revolution. Large houses, luxurious hotels and mansions lined the streets throughout the 50s in this once alluring neighborhood. Hearing about its present transformation is the perfect lens into Cuba's history.

• We suggest sunscreen and a hat for protection.
• Driving portion is approximately 4 hours. The classic cars are often convertibles. There is not a guide in each car but you will be informed of what you are going to see and you will stop when possible. If you would like a guide in each car, contact ShoreTrips for pricing.
