Relax and become comfortable as you and your hosts get to know one another over a glass of wine. Then enjoy a demonstration of the cooking methods used for generations as your host prepares two of his family's favorite recipes.

Although the menu will vary based on the season and availability, you can be sure you are in for a culinary treat. The meal begins with a time-honored appetizer, using the fresh and plentiful fish for which Iceland is known. A crisp salad and perhaps salmon, maybe roast lamb, will be presented in a manner that is as beautiful as it is delicious. Make sure you save room for dessert, the finale to an exquisite meal. It could be yogurt pie or a summer fruit pie, both homemade and divine.
