This private transfer provides a seamless transition from airport to ship before touring famous St. Mark's Square.
Your private driver will be there at the airport, waiting to handle your bags before heading to the cruise ship to drop off your luggage. Now unencumbered, you will board a private boat to St. Mark's Square, the historical center of Venice.
Here you will meet your private, English-speaking guide who is ready to provide a walking tour of the highlights of "La Piazza".
St. Mark's Basilica is the centerpiece of the square. Known as the "Church of Gold" for its opulence, this magnificent Venetian-Byzantine structure is a mix of Eastern and Western architectural influences, and has become a common style in the city.
The Doge's Palace, completed in 1450, was the former house of the Government of the ancient Venetian Republic. While here, you'll learn about the origins of Venice, the main events which characterized the 1,000 years of her independence and the peculiar political system that the city created.
The Square is also home to important government buildings, the National Library of St. Mark's, the Museum of Archeology, the Correr Museum, the Rialto Bridge and many other sites of interest.
After touring St. Mark's Square, you will return to the cruise ship pier via boat transfer, ready to begin your cruise.

Transfer / Meeting Instructions
No Taxi Required Specific pick up or taxi instructions will appear on your voucher after you purchase your trip.Special Instructions
• If you miss a plane or experience long or serious delays due to missed/canceled flights or lost luggage, please contact your tour operators at the number provided to you on your voucher. If your tour operator does not hear from you, you may be charged for the time they have to wait for you at the airport. If your flight was canceled and they do not hear from you, you will be charged the full amount of your transfer.
• If any of your luggage gets lost, please approach the sliding doors of the customs area: you will find your driver/assistant right outside with a sign with your name. Kindly let them know that you'll be late.
Restrictions
• There will be an additional fee of 5€ for any extra piece of luggage.
• You will be assisted during the transfer from the airport to the pier.
• There is no assistance during boat transfers.
• Please note, all sites are exterior visits only.
