ShoreTrips says...

The islands and inlets of Ketchikan's Tongass National Forest provide the perfect environment for exploring via kayak.

Get a true feel for the beauty of Ketchikan when you leave the town behind and travel north to the incredible beauty of the Tongass National Forest.

Climb into these stable tandem sea kayaks and move silently into the clear, calm protected waters of Clover Pass and Eagle Island. As you paddle, your guide will tell you about the natural and cultural history of this area.

On this family-friendly tour, both novice and experienced kayakers will enjoy this paddle for an up-close and personal look at a wide variety of inter-tidal life, maybe even sea stars if the tide is right. Our view of seals, eagles, Pacific porpoises, Sitka deer, and sometimes humpback and orca whales will be from farther away, but still exciting.

While wildlife sightings are not guaranteed, we do guarantee your guides will provide you with a memorable experience in this very special place.
